Fresh Install macOS Mojave

Requirements

• USB Device at least 8GB

• macOS Installer

  Download macOS Installer

  https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?l=en&mt=12

  Prepare USB Device

  Detect USB Device

  $ diskutil list

  Format USB Device

  $ diskutil eraseDisk HFS+ 'macosinstaller' disk<number>

  Create Installation Media

  $ sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Mojave.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/macosinstaller

  Boot Into Installer

• Turn on MacBook with USB drive plugged in

• As soon as you press the power button, hold down the left “Option Key” until you see the boot selection screen

• Choose USB Installer

• First erase the existing disk with the “Disk Utility”

• Click “Install macOS” and follow the on-screen instructions
